Today in the East of England it is raining; steadily dripping out of a blanket grey sky. In an effort to introduce a bit of luxury to the day, I present to you...Norfolk Cordial. They are a delicious, locally produced cordial in a beautifully packaged bottle (see the little sample bottles below): raspberry, redcurrent and grapefruit, strawberry and lime, rhubarb/orange/ginger, wild elderflower. Out of all the flavours, we found the rhubarb one most interesting, unusual and would consider purchasing this.
If you live in East Anglia, then try out suppliers such as The Food Company (Marks Tey), Snape Maltings (Aldeburgh), Milsoms (Dedham) & Jimmy's Farm (Suffolk).
If it is good enough for Raymond LaBlanc's Le Manoir, then it is good enough for us!

I'd love to read your feedback. It's fun to know when people like the recipes (or not!).
