Sweet Potato and Prune baby/toddler mush

I can't remember what inspired this gloopy soup, but it is a firm favourite with my youngest.  She still eats it aged one and a half years old.  Far too sweet for my taste, I think that it appeals in the same way that baby milk attracts her.

Makes enough for 2 toddler meals or 4-8 baby meals.  I keep this in the fridge for up to two days. It is a standby for lunchtimes when the rest of the family are working or at school.

1/2 sweet potato, chopped
1/4 ot 1/2 courgette, chopped
3 prunes (pitted)
1 carrot, peeled and chopped
1 apple, peeled and chopped

---------------

1. After peeling and chopping the ingredients, put them in a steamer, babycook or equivalent until they are soft. Include the prunes in this process.

2. Blend until it reaches a consistency that you like.

I can't quite stomach the sweetness of the mush so I make something alongside for myself.  You could always steam extra courgette and then eat with grated or cubed cheese and tomato.  Oddly, I love cooked courgette in a cheese pitta sandwich!  Try it!

I'd love to read your feedback. It's fun to know when people like the recipes (or not!).
